ReplyDeleteNeeded to chase down some "locals" to fill out the entries. We've got a big Flyers fan in the "H", the "expert" who felt, and wagered that Philly would sweep in "Guapo" and last but not least, the one and only "Beantown Blackouts" aka Billy Blackout with the Deacon's entry.

On the plus side, you don't have to sit through a long boring Draft and you'd already be ahead of me in the Standings.
On the minus side, being ahead of me in the Standings doesn't necessarily mean much.

ReplyDeleteI would normally give my left nut for 2nd place, but I guess when we have less than 20 players, I can't finish 15th.
ReplyDeleteSo yeah, I kinda like 1st place, I guess. I dunno. It's all so new to me.
In fact, I never even learned to be a gracious winner, so allow me to point out that Toews as MVP should really be worth 25 pts, and that Hjallmarsson should be worth 20. (Of course that means Hossa scores you 10 more, but like I said earlier, Hjallmarsson and Toews, FTW!
