The Sports Talk Playoff Pool: NHL 2010 Rosters

Well it's that time of year again. Hopefully I can gut it out long enough to be still posting these things in June, unlike last year's pool, which had a shelf life shorter than the 2009 Habs' season. No, this year's pool will run well past Memorial Day, just like the 2010 Habs' season.

I'm glad that we decided to forego the H2H format because we fell short of last year's 8-team mark. With only six of us playing this year, we'd have had to go with some kinda bye-week or advance a series loser or some shit, but by just playing a Fantasy Points (FP) format, we avoid that whole mess. The actual FPs in question? You'll recall that we settled on the uber-simple:

• Point Scored = 1 FP
  
• Game-Winning Goal = 1 FP
  
• Goaltender Win = 1 FP
  
• Goaltender Shutout = 1 FP
  

So sit back and enjoy the next two months of hockey and check in here from time to time for updates on your team's progress. I can't stand the Blogger™ glitch that makes creating tables so annoying, so don't expect no kinda daily reports or nuthin', but we'll aim for weekly and probably settle for bi-weekly as I grow lazier. And to save me from displaying the following rosters with accompanying stats, I'll skip the table and just list everyone's picks.
